Arrest Made in Murder of NBA Player and Philly Native Wayne Ellington’s Father
On November 9, 2014, Wayne Ellington Sr., 57, was found dead in the driver’s seat of his 2001 Oldsmobile on the 5200 block of Marion Street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Almost three hours later he was declared dead. According to news reports, the man charged with Ellington Sr.’s murder is Carl White, a 34-year old Philly resident.

Temple Defeats La Salle 58-57 in the Battle for North Philly at the Hallowed Palestra
Living in Philly, it is easy to take for granite all the great tradition and historical significance this city has. This was apparent to me recently when I visited Miami – a city that doesn’t have anything older than the 1900s.
Big 5 games at the Palestra are one of those traditions Philadelphians should be thankful for. On Saturday, December 6, 2014, Temple and La Salle continued that tradition. Temple earned the victory 58-57.

PhillyRap BREAKING NEWS: Beanie Sigel Shot And Undergoing Treatment for an Apparent Life Threatening Injury
At 9:30 a.m. this morning, reports surfaced that Beanie Sigel had been shot after an apparent fight outside a Jersey Shore home, according to police, and is being treated for a “life-threatening injury.” Reports indicate that the bullet hit Beans in the abdomen and exited through his back. The shooting took place in Pleasantville, N.J., a beach town not far from Atlantic City. Police believe that Sigel was living in the hone where the shooting occurred.
“The crime scene looks like there was some sort of physical altercation,” Pleasantville Police Chief Jose Ruiz said. “From what we see there are items turned over, some scuff marks in the grass and stuff . . .”

MEEK MILL IS OUT THE BING!
Two days ago Meek Mill finished serving his time and he was released from prison. Meek Mill’s bid began in July 2014 when he was sentenced to 3-6 months for a probation violation. Meek was released on parole and is required to undergo treatment programs and complete community service. Until Meek completes the community service and treatment programs, he is not permitted to leave the Philly area. Therefore the conditions of his release prevent him from capitalizing on his talent and hard work.
